A weekend of canyoning in the Numietta/Coorongooba area, with perfect weather (well almost) and a great team - what could be better?
Blackwater Ck Tributary / Midwinter Canyon
On friday 6 of us set off to the top of Mt Corricudgy to explore a tributary of Blackwater Ck. We scrambled down the hill to Blackwater Ck and trudged all the way back up again... Though we didn't find a canyon, we did enjoy a great 28m abseil. On the menu for a very hot Saturday - once the rest of our company arrived - was Midwinter and Greenup, Grassy Canyon and a narrow unnamed Canyon on the east side of the Numietta. Rod, Min, Andrew and Tessa also went off to do a quick Sunday canyon, before it was time to pack up and head home.
