Annual MSS Boxing Day Pilgrimage to lilo the Wollangambe

This was an absolutely beautiful day all round. Nine members of the MSS (including 3 beginners) set off to lilo down the mid section of the Wollangambe River (called "Wollangambe One" in the guidebook). I drove up to Mt Wilson after christmas and slept in the back of my WRX (which is a lot more comfortable than it sounds). We had a really easy day, setting off a little after 10.00am and returning to the cars just after 6pm. Rod and I camped at the Cathederal of Ferns Campground that night (he did the civilised tent thing, I stuck with my car), and the next morning I piked on Claustral because the storms were closing in.
