My photography rig for the eclipse: Canon 400D, 300mm IS lens with a Teleplus 2x
extender, JMB glass solar filter on a home-made plate fitted to a cokin filter holder.
The Manfrotto tripod with the joystick head is sturdy and really easy to adjust, but
the strong, gusty wind pushed its stability to the limit here.
